Bushnell Marine Series Binoculars
Bushnell Marine binoculars, as their name suggests, are made to be used on the water. They are completely waterproof because of dry nitrogen-charged barrels, and O-ring seals, which also make the binoculars fog proof and dust proof, inside and out. Rubber armoring protects the exterior, and also makes for easy gripping, even in wet weather conditions. In addition, at least one models comes with a compass and rangefinder, both of which can be useful for navigation on the water. The compass is illuminated so it's visible, even in low-light conditions.
The Marine series of binoculars contain BAK-4, phase-coated prisms, which transmit high levels of light, creating bright, clear images. The lenses are multi-coated for sharp, clear images, and true color interpretation. Not only are these binoculars waterproof, they are hermetically sealed, which makes then sink-proof—they float for easy retrieval. Most Marine binocular models come with a soft case, objective and optical lens covers, and a neckstrap. All Bushnell binoculars are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
