Leica Duovid Binoculars
Leica Duovid binoculars, as the names suggests, offer a choice of two high-performance magnifications, effectively changing from standard binoculars to a binocular-spotting scope with a simple adjustment of the eyepiece rings. The housing is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, so the binoculars are fairly lightweight yet durable. The center axis pin is made from solid titanium. These binoculars offer nothing but quality.
The Duovid series external lenses have High-Durable Coatings (HDC), which increase image clarity, and protect the lenses from scratches and other harmful effects. The twist-up eyecups have three different settings, and can be easily removed for cleaning. The Automatic Diopter Compensation (ADC) keeps the diopter setting constant, even when switching between magnifications. They're waterproof, fog proof, and submersible up to 16.5 feet. Leica Duovid binoculars come with a tripod adapter, a Nappa leather carrying case, a neoprene neckstrap, and a one-piece rainguard to protect the ocular lenses. The binoculars are covered by a three-year Passport Protection Plan, and a limited lifetime warranty.
