Leica Geovid Binoculars
Geovid series binoculars are waterproof, with a submersion rating of 16.5 feet. The aircraft-grade aluminum housing is durable and lightweight, and the center-hinge design with its solid stainless steel axis pin makes the binoculars easy to adjust. The rangefinder is easy to read, offering a bright red LED readout that automatically adjusts to ambient light, thereby always being legible. Soft rubber eyecups have three positions, and are easily removed for cleaning. Leica Geovid binoculars come with a cordura carrying case, a cushioned neckstrap, objective lens caps, a one-piece rainguard to protect the ocular lenses, and a CR2 battery to power the rangefinder. Both the binoculars and the rangefinder are covered by Leica's five-year limited warranty.
