Minox BP Series Binoculars
Minox BP series binoculars are ideal birdwatching optics with their wide field of view and enhanced three-dimensional imaging thanks to their porro prisms. These prisms offer exceptional light transmission at a rate of 94.5 percent because less light is lost along the optical path. Despite porro prisms usually requiring more space and weight, Minox has managed to include them in the BP series, and make the binoculars compact by comparison.
The BP series binoculars are filled with argon gas, making them waterproof and fog proof, inside and out. This gas also protects the interior from corrosion. Extended eye relief will appeal to those who wear eyeglasses, as will the twist-up eyecups with click-stop settings. Minox BP binoculars come with a carrying case, neoprene neckstrap, and a rainguard. All Minox binoculars are covered by a 30-year manufacturer's warranty.
