Nikon EDG Binoculars
Nikon EDG binoculars are made for the hunter, but are just as ideal for any wildlife observer. The binoculars are built with Nikon's exclusive Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass, which delivers exceptional sharpness and detail resolution. In addition, die-electric coated prisms provide maximum brightness by facilitating light transmission. Few other binoculars offer such crisp, clear images.
EDG binoculars are fully waterproof and fog proof thanks to barrels that are dry nitrogen filled, and O-ring seals. The magnesium-alloy body is both lightweight and durable, and is covered with rubber armoring for extra protection and comfort. Thumb-position memory pads also add comfort, even for long-term viewing. The eyecups are horn-shaped, detachable, and offer ratcheting adjustment to block out peripheral light, conform to the face, and accommodate eyeglass wearers. Nikon EDG binoculars come with objective and optical lens covers, and a neckstrap. All Nikon sport optics are covered by the company's 25-year limited warranty, and a no-fault repair/replacement policy.
