Oberwerk 20x60 Binoculars
All Oberwerk binoculars have rugged rubber-armored metal bodies, all-glass lenses, right ocular diopter adjustment, brass 1/4-20 tripod adapter threading, case, caps, and strap.
Oberwerk high-quality 60mm binoculars- at a 50mm price! That extra 10mm doesn't sound like very much- but 60mm objectives gather 30% more light than 50mm models (surface area = pi*r2). With that much extra light-gathering power, these are ideal for a low-cost entry into binocular astronomy. They are also excellent for birding, nautical applications, and surveillance. Not only do you get big 60mm objectives - you get the same highest-quality BAK4 prisms that are found in much more expensive models. These are available in your choice of either 9x, 12x, 15x, or 20x magnification. All air-to-glass surfaces are fully coated to decrease light loss due to scattering and reflections. Objectives have highest-quality green/purple broadband multi-coatings, typically only found on binoculars with much higher price tags.

Boy these are heavy suckers and a real workout if you use them for an extended period of time. They do produce a great image though and the images don't bounce too much even though they have a massive 20x mag on them.
I didn't think I'd be able to find a pair of binoculars for around a hundred bucks, so I was glad to find these. They're good quality and work great. I may get another pair for my son.
I wasn't expecting too much from these I just picked them up as they are cheap and I wanted to test out something with a large magnification. I took these to the lake and was blown away at how much detail they had. I could clearly make out people on the beach on the other side of the lake and make out all the ski runs on the mountains behind them. Fantasic buy!
