Although these binoculars are a bit pricey, the optics are really worth the extra cost. The increased resolution and clarity w/ the ED glass is easily visible if you try them side by side w/ a cheaper pair. The optics actually rival those of binoculars costing twice as much. The warranty is solid and the extra cost of these over time is well worth it. Very versatile overall. Can see well in low light (dusk), shadows, even night sky viewing is quite good.
