Pentax Papilio Butterfly Series Binoculars
Pentax Papilio Butterfly series binoculars are made for butterfly watchers. If that's your hobby, you need a pair of Papilio binoculars. What makes them unique and ideal for butterfly or insect watching is the internal mechanism that offers a minimum focusing distance of just 18 inches, allowing you to get up close and see details you would miss at the 6.5 feet offered by other close-range models. Aside from butterfly watching, they're also great for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. Note that they're not waterproof, though.
The Papilio Butterfly series features aspherical optical lenses, and BAK-4 prisms, which combine to offer crisp, clear images, even at that close focus distance.
