About Pioneer Research
With a mission to develop the best products to enhance the enjoyment of your outdoor and sport experiences, Pioneer Research is the expert. Located in Moorestown, New Jersey, Pioneer Research is the North American headquarters of Steiner binoculars, and the worldwide headquarters for SeaLife cameras and Vero Vellini slings & straps. By using their own products and checking out their competition, Pioneer Research is devoted to providing customers with the highest-quality products.

The Predator Pro's rubber armoring has also been re-engineered so it emits almost no noise during handling. The softer, quieter rubber is also more tactile in wet weather, and the forest green color blends with most camo patterns. With 18.5mm eye relief and soft, fold-down eyecups, eyeglass wearers will have no difficulty whether they choose to wear their glasses or not.

The 10x40 Predator Pro uses unique Steiner's Sports Auto-Focus system; once set for the user's eyes, this feature keeps all subjects in focus at distances from approximately 20 yards to infinity. The Sports Auto-Focus allows hunters to scan an entire landscape without having to readjust focus, and can also be faster in locating a game animal. Steiner's proprietary optical design affords the new 10x40 this exceptionally large depth of field. The advantage is that the binoculars are always ready, and there's never any lost opportunity while trying to focus on a distant target.

The Predator Pro features Steiner's exclusive Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coating that enhances brown and red colors against foliated backgrounds, making game subjects "pop" from green-foliated backgrounds. Using a new proprietary coating system, Steiner's new 10x40 Predator Pro offers markedly brighter and crisper images, enhancing the binocular's effectiveness at dusk and dawn.

The 10x40 Predator Pro is perfect for hunters who view game in wooded areas. The lens coating of the binoculars helps users discern subjects against green-colored foliage. This latest Predator model, with the "Pro" designation, provides improved clarity, and even higher light transmission while maintaining high levels of contrast.
